Well, the day started badly anyway. My planned safari jeep trip didn´t happen as they must have forgotten to pick me up at an agreed spot at an agreed time! After an hour waiting there and a call to find out what the hell they sent a guy with an alternative plan/route in which I was not interested as I had it booked for my e-bike excursion tomorrow already. I´ve decided to do this bike trip instead as a last minute decision, with an hour delay already that I had planned to do but at the end of the week.
Caleta de Fuste - Antigua - Pájara - Ajuy and back as Betancuria had to be skipped unfortunately due to the hilly terrain with no battery left plus 5:30 pm deadline for the bike return. False info received from the rent company, both about the distance and the battery life! Well, my fault too, never trust anyone! Better always check for yourself... As always, but didn´t happen today. It teaches you a lesson though and I can add it to the list of my small personal challenges...
